200 Varick St, 8th Floor
Right upstairs from us is a big chunk of space that was recently given up by DesignTex, a subsidiary of our friends Steelcase.
Right now it’s a giant chunk of raw space, which is being subdivided as we speak.
We’re talking to the building now about a possible deal. They’re saying the spaces will be ready for occupation by July 1st, which is a little late for our tastes, but the prospect of being able to return to 200 Varick St is worth pursuing. We already know we like the area and the building, and we already have a relationship with the landlord, which is crucial.
