NWC Workalong: Let’s build this together

One of the takeaways from our last brainstorm session was that NWC should be giving people more ways to help. To that end, I suggested designating a set time when anybody who wants to help can come hack on whatever NWC needs help with.

That way, anybody who would like to chip in can do so in a completely opt-in way. We all have busy schedules, but if you can block out a couple of hours, I’ll show you how you can help.

We’re experimenting this week. Today and Thursday, from 4-7pm, a couple of us will be working on NWC. If you’d like to help, come by and we’ll show you what’s on NWC’s plate that you could help with. Then grab whatever looks good to you and get to it! Let me know you’re coming, and I’ll take that into account whenever we start buying beer and pizza :)

We’re on the verge of making some very big moves, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that the only way we’ll succeed at opening a beautiful new space is by coming together and stepping up to make it happen.

And that’s just how it should happen. New Work City wouldn’t be New Work City if it wasn’t built by all of us together.
